Nikki's Wedding
We flew out to Rochester (for the first time since Nikki moved there) for her wedding and to meet the groom for the first time. It was a simply and beautiful wedding and we have enjoyed getting to know Chuck.
Blushing Bride
Newly Married Couple
Kale at the playground after. I do believe he chanted playground the whole way through the ceremony.
And a little cake at the reception. I love the matching maroon.

First View of Niagra Falls
Everyone said you can't be in upstate New York and not go see the Falls. Everyone also said it is more impressive than you expect it to be. Unfortunately enough people had said that to me that it wasn't quite as beautiful as I expected it to be. Volume and Raw Power make up the impressiveness and it isn't as simply beautiful as some smaller falls I have seen.
The mist certainly was amazing though. You got damp no matter how far away from the falls you tried to stay. Kale was not at all a fan of the mist and would complain every time the wind sent it our way.
Kale was checking out the boats under the falls.
A windy family shot.
Kale just hanging out.

Red Fire Engine Light
Daddy's back from the conference and he brought me a ball.
Mom is thrilled that someone else can play with me inside the fire engine. A few years ago she and dad bought this pop up fire engine for cousin Rod and I just love it.

Moonstone Beach
I grew up in Northern California, land of big trees and frigid frigid beaches. When we were kids mom would sometimes dress us in our snow suits to take us to the beach. There are warm days, though, where you can get away with wearing your swimsuits as long as you put a hoodie on over it.
Elena jumping off the dunes into the mouth of the Mad River.
A windy smile.
Big sister Kimber enjoying the sunshine.
Rodgrio climbing to the top of the rocks.
Grandpa staring out at the ocean.
Playing in the sand with grandma is the best part of the beach.
Mom, I am a little sandy.
endnote - keva and i got married at this beach and it was fun to remember the wedding and sad to be there without keva (love you honey)

Here Fishy Fishy
The mosquitoes were multiplying in the ponds so it was time for some new feeder fish.
After checking out the fish in the bag
Kale got to grab the fish out of the pot
and pour them into the pond

In Case my Daddy Misses Me
We aren't posting any pictures of us having fun in Humboldt County.
Well how about one of us eating some amazing Truffle cheese.
Love,
Kale & Mummy
