Week 5

The past week has been a calm one and we don't have a plethora of pictures.

Hey look! Real clothes. What a stylish young baby with one of his only new to him shirts (Thanks Auntie Kimber and family)!

Most of the time is still spent in only a onesie smooshed against mums chest fast fast asleep.

First Smiles

I have no pictures to back me up on this but George smiled his first real smiles today. We were sitting in the waiting room of a doctors office and he grinned at me. Hope we will continue to see these smiles in the future and maybe even catch one on camera.

Week 4

We had our 4 week visit with the midwives. George has jumped up to 13lbs 6oz - eeh gads. Aside from that we didn't really have anything to talk about and were out of there pretty quickly.

Being a big brother is hard work. Sometimes you have to sneak off and fall asleep in the baby swing.

Hanging out on the back yard swing is pretty good too.

Help - Mumma buried me in the clean diapers.

Now who is having more fun with the Gymini?

The chubby monkey with a curved neck.

Swim Lessons

Kale looking a bit trepidatious about that starfish float.

Comfortable practicing kicking on the mat.

And downright happy when they get to play with the noodles.

Sand Art

While Keva and I were finishing up our picnic dinner at Trout Lake this evening Kale asked us to come see a picture he had drawn of George. It is the most representational art I have ever seen him produce. Hope you can get a sense of it in the pictures.

He rolls!!!

George and I were hanging out on a blanket in the back yard. He just impressed us by rolling from his tummy to his back FOUR times in a row! At three weeks old, it's clear we have another budding genius.

Look at those scary monsters.

Week 3

Daddy feeling the magic! He got the baby right to sleep.

Sometimes he goes right to sleep without the sling though.

And he looks so peaceful.

Our first photo of the four of us. Here we are at the beach in Stanley Park playing in the surf.

While Kale and I made castles and ate snacks.

Week 2

We went in for our two week visit with the midwives today. George has grown to 10lbs 15 oz already and is doing well. His jaundice has faded away and his is doing fantastic. Here are some photos from the past week.

Hanging out with the baby and giving him lots of love.

Oh my goodness look at that face.

Chilling in the sunshine.
Summer dining with Cono and Lisa in town for a visit.

Kale and Keva escaped babyville for the day and had a blast at Playland.

Grandma taking some time out from the busy laundry and cooking support to chill with the baby.

Kale loves the camera now that we have a wee one and took this portrait of me this week.

Welcome George Cohen!!

Kale is eager to announce the birth of his younger brother George Cohen Moskowitz

Georgie was born at home yesterday morning, July 9th, at 7:49am.
Weighing in at 9 lbs 10 oz, he is almost as big as his big brother was.
Molly is thrilled to have accomplished a home VBAC and is still feeling high.
Keva and Molly are in love with both of their boys.

All of our love,
MKKG

Kale Solo

Kale figured out how to use the photo booth app on the laptop.  He took all these photos by himself.

I stitched together 15 minutes of his snapshots into this video.
