My Sick Boys

Our out of town guests brought another visitor into the house...the dreaded head cold. Keva has been home from work and Kale has been sneezing boogers all day long. I had hoped we would avoid cold season until Kale was a little older but now we are learning how to steam out boogers and help a sick and snuffly boy get a little rest. He definitely has been having shorter feeds and sleeps today as he copes with his icky feelings. Keva on the other hand has been having longer sleeps as he copes wiht his icky feelings. Heres hoping I will make it through this without getting ill as well.

They are so adorable, sick or no.

I hope Mom avoids the dreaded head cold as well - it was here and gone about a month ago, but Jason was having symptoms again this week :/ I've thankfully been pretty healthy.

Hope the boys get better soon and your iron immune system holds up. I've been a little bit sick too, but not sick enough to skip work, sadly...

I like the bulb syringe, (aka "snot sucker") myself - oh and the Tylenol Cold for babies works wonders when they can't sleep... It's also is good to keep his head elevated to aid drainage and prevent fluid from building up in the ears. (We put phone books under the head of the crib cuz our kiddos are prone to ear infections.)Hope both your men are feeling better soon!
